Desserts and decoration go hand-in-hand. After all, we don’t need our food to look pretty any more than we need dessert. But a decorative dessert is a great way to mark a meal as special, whether you’re celebrating a birthday or just making it to Friday. When you end a meal with something as beautiful as a Chocolate Cream Cupcake, complete with a whimsical squiggle on top, or a Strawberry Dream Cake resplendent with a strawberry flower on top, its hard not to pause and wonder if it’s too pretty to eat. Then you sink your teeth into the first bite and know you haven’t made a mistake.
