Let’s all admit, Lemon Bars are not the healthiest baking resolution for 2012. The combination of eggs, sugar, and butter are definitely not on the top of my grocery list. But when I found blogger Patty’s post about her recipe she adapted from the “America’s Test Kitchen Light & Healthy 2011″ cookbook, I couldn’t help but read her tricks for making a 190 calorie version. Surprisingly, her husband even asked for seconds!

I’ve been a foodie friend of Patty for a while now and I’d like to congratulate her on always surprising me with her culinary growth.
It’s been a very interesting journey having inspirations like her. This was a very well thought out recipe with a pleasant ‘Patty’ twist. Brava!
