Got a treat for Scraps?

This dog will do almost anything for food.

Scraps is the perfect name for an America’s Test Kitchen dog (too bad we don’t allow pups into the kitchen). This 7-year-old border Border Terrier-Dachshund mix was rescued in Dallas. Six years ago, his now-owner received a phone call from a friend who saw Scraps at a rescue event. The call went something like:

“There’s this dog here. He’s kinda goofy, he’s got an underbite and crazy hair. he’s not for me, but I think you’ll love him.”

Today, he’s a well-loved dog who will do almost anything for food (is that a surprise?). He loves long car rides and peanut butter sorbet from J.P. Licks.

In case you didn’t know, the America’s Test Kitchen offices (not the kitchen) are dog friendly. Every once in a while, we’ll share a furry moment from our resident four-legged friends. Stay tuned for the cute.

Oh he is just too cute :) I wish I could bring my dog to work. He’s such a lover and would make everyone smile around here!

Oh my gosh – I thought that was a picture of my dog. Lainey is our rescue dog that has that same adorable face with the those dark precious eyes. Thanks for sharing.
