Challenging bloggers to showcase their own versions of classic American dishes.

No longer just a side dish, mac n’ cheese has officially reached entrée status. Although a longtime palate pleaser of picky children, this carb-centric dish causes serious adult cravings. While luxurious on its own, macaroni and cheese, with its simple composition of noodles and, well, loads of cheese, can be filled with a wealth (literally) of ingredients like lobster and truffles.

So do you fancy a fancy macaroni and cheese? We’ll find out how you feed your mac attack when you dish it your way.

Remember, we’re looking for the best stories behind the recipes and blog posts that are moving, creative, or witty. See the winners of our Burger, Salmon, Potato Salad and Fried Chicken challenges.

To get you started, check out our Cook’s Country recipe for Skillet Macaroni and Cheese, a rich dish that uses just one pan.

Posts accepted August 15th – August 24th. Winner announced August 26th.
