Now and again, we find ourselves with too much of a good thing in the test kitchen.

Lucky test kitchen employees, like senior books editor Louise Emerick, right, take it home to thankful families or appreciative roommates… or, you know, back to their desk for a mid-day treat. (Come on, surplus pie! We’re only human.)
