Test kitchen manager Leah Rovner sets out part of a massive grocery order of ingredients on the library table before packing them into boxes destined for the set of Cook’s Country. Filming starts next week, and since we require tons of kitchen equipment and shelves’ worth of staple ingredients to prepare the food for the show, our staff packs up everything we need – from stand mixers to saucepans, from baking powder to bourbon – and drives it to our farmhouse set in western Vermont.

When he isn't running the Test Kitchen Snapshots section of The Feed, drooling over pictures of food while directing shoots for Cook's Illustrated and Cook's Country, or trying to stay out of the way while taking photos in the Test Kitchen, you can find him scurrying around his own kitchen, relaxing in one of Boston's waterfront parks, daydreaming about great barbecue, or stuck in traffic jamming out to Springsteen with the windows down.
