Ack! What does this mean:
1¾ cups sour cream cup packed (7 ounces) light brown sugar
Hi mtrphx, apologies for the formatting error. It is now correct. Ingredients should read 1¾ cups sour cream, 1 cup packed (7 ounces) light brown sugar.
I agree, what does that mean sour cream packed/light brown sugar? Also can this cake be made in loaf pan?
wondering if i can sub buttermilk for sour cream?
Hmm, not sure I’m loving this recipe. The crumb is nice, but it’s awfully sweet. Also, not sure if it was my oven or my baking soda, but it didn’t rise evenly despite turning the pans halfway through.
One cup of brown sugar packed means take a spoon and push brown sugar into cup and fill to one cup measure.
Can I bake this in one 9×13 pan?
If I don’t have sour cream, would it be alright to sub Greek yogurt instead?
