Pull this gooey, sweet yeast bread apart with your hands, and let the fun begin.

Oh my. This looks ridiculous. Hauling out the mixer now.
I want to make this for brunch but it looks a bit too labor-intensive for first thing in the AM- any do-ahead tips?
I’ve made it three times and it came out perfect each time! Delicious.
Marshall, with bread dough, I often make the dough the day ahead and then replace the rising time by putting the dough in the fridge overnight. Then all you have to do in the morning is pull it out, let it rest for 20-30 minutes, then cut it and proceed according to the recipe.
Marshall – If you’re looking for a quick way to make this in the morning before trying out this recipe and making the dough yourself, I’ve used canned biscuits and cut them into either halves or fourths and then continued with the rest of the ingredients. It turns out SO delicious!

I definitely want to try making everything on my own though. I love the monkey bread I make, but I’d like to say I even made the bread for it, too.
Monkey Bread= AMAZING+hours at the gym
I saw this cake being made on the Joey Fatone’s show “My Family Recipe Rocks” and wanted to get the recipe from their website. Needless to say, I’ll use the trusted ATK now!
Thank you for including the instructions on how to make this without a mixer. I really wish more of your baking recipes included the no mixer note in them. There’s been a lot of trial and error in my non-mixer kitchen.
Am also pleased in the no mixer addition. Sounds delicious, will definitely make.
How many grams of rapid-rise yeast or instant yeast does this recipe call for, and if I want to use fresh yeast, how much should I then use? Thanks!
For those who may have lactose issues like myself this recipe works really well without the milk. I used all water in the dough and it worked great!
Hi Angélica, 1 package of dry yeast is equal to 7 grams or .25 ounce.
