The Case of the Missing Maple Syrup

    Someone with an insatiable sweet tooth–or more sinister plans–has stolen millions of dollars of maple syrup from a warehouse. The warehouse in Canada, which releases syrup to meet off-season demand around the world. Authorities are still determining if more of the 45-gallon barrels of syrup have been emptied. With the majority of Canadian syrup winding up on tables in the US, here’s to hoping the shortage doesn’t affect American waffles.
