Ever dreamt of walking through the doors of America’s Test Kitchen and having Bridget teach you how to cook? Now you can.

In honor of our new Online Cooking School, America’s Test Kitchen will be celebrating Learn To Cook Week on April 23 – 27. As part of our celebrations, we’re offering one lucky reader the opportunity to fly to America’s Test Kitchen in Boston, MA, and spend the day learning to cook with Bridget. We are also giving away ten 60-day enrollments to the America’s Test Kitchen Cooking School!

Here’s How To Apply:
Email in a photograph of you cooking in the kitchen, with a paragraph (150 words or less) about why you want to learn to cook, to socialmedia@americastestkitchen.com with the subject line “Learn To Cook.” Please also include your name, address, telephone number, and the URL of your blog or Twitter feed.

Your name, photograph, story, and city and state of residence may be featured on our Tumblr blog. (See our finalists here)!

Deadline:
Thursday, April 26 at 11:59 p.m. EST.

How This Works:
From April 16 to April 27, we will select ten finalists who will receive a 60-day enrollment to the America’s Test Kitchen online Cooking School. We will select one finalist every weekday between April 16 and April 27, and they will be featured on our Tumblr blog. So, the earlier you apply, the better.

We will pick a grand prize winner from the 10 finalists, and announce the winner on May 3. The winner will be flown into Boston, given 2 nights’ accommodation, and taken to the Test Kitchen where they will cook with Bridget on June 18, 2012. The winner will also star in “Learn To Cook” video with Bridget during their visit.

The fine print: The deadline for submission is Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Limit one entry per individual. The challenge is limited to residents of the contiguous United States who are 18 years and older as of April 9, 2012. If the winner cannot fly into Boston, MA the weekend before June 18, 2012, and visit the Test Kitchen on June 18, 2012, an alternate winner will be picked. The decisions made by the judges at America’s Test Kitchen are final.

By emailing in your application, you are agreeing to let us use your name, photograph, submitted writing, and city and state of residence for advertising, trade, publicity and/or promotional purposes in any media, including the World Wide Web and Tumblr.com without review, notification, or approval and without further compensation.

This is the contest I have waited for for 30 years!!! I have a vacation planned in Kaui that weekend, it is a family vacation once in a lifetime!!! I am so sad I will miss this :(

Sounds like a dream vacation to me! Can’t wait to enter! :)

Wish I could enter… but alone, (so no pic) and really don’t cook anything just for me- it just doesn’t seem worth it. I only eat something when I’m hungry- whenever that might be. I know I should really eat better and my son has been trying his best to push me to as well… wish I could find a way to love it again. I love the quiche I used to make… and as stated by Kristie- it would be a dream vacation… just need a spark I guess… :/

I’m sad to see that this is limited to those in the contiguous states. I love America’s Test Kitchen but live in beautiful Alaska!
