Which kitchen gizmos actually work and are worth buying

Electric Juicers

Speedily squeeze the last drop out of your citrus fruits.

If you’re squeezing a single lemon, a manual juicer is fine. But for a lot of lemon or orange juice, an electric juicer is the way to go.

Gadget Name: Black and Decker Electric Juicer CJ625

Price: $19.99

How it’s supposed to work: You press down half of an orange, lemon, or grapefruit and it does the work for you.

How it actually works: The Black and Decker Electric Juicer CJ625 is easy to use. You can adjust for the pulp level. The juice falls down into a pitcher that’s easy to pour.

My favorite part: It’s simple to clean up.

Best for: Fresh-juice enthusiasts.

Overall: It’s a nice juicer and a real bargain.

What’s your current juicing situation? What gadget do you use?
