It’s great putting freshly whipped cream on desserts, but if you whip it too far ahead, it separates, and if you stop everything to go whip the cream, your guests will be waiting around.
Enter the cream whipper. It’s a stainless steel canister that holds about a pint of fresh cream and dispenses at the touch of a button. It’s nice enough looking to put right on the table. The whipped cream comes out in little florets; you can decorate a cake or top your hot chocolate. Plus, you can store the whole thing in the fridge for several days, where it’s ready to use when you need it.
We tried a few models and found the Liss Professional Cream Whipper the easiest to use. The pint size in stainless steel costs about $100. It’s not cheap, but it works.
