Use a large lettuce leaf as a brush for marinades and sauces.
Spear a juiced lemon half onto a fork and use it to baste items on the grill. The lemon baster is best when you’re using a lemony sauce (surprise, surprise).
Gather a fistful of cornhusks and tie them together at one end with an additional husk. To make the brush bristles, fray the loose husks at the opposite end. Tie the middle with another husk to secure. Then dip your newly made brush into your sauce and apply it.
