Drama #1 Transferring Fried Eggs

Nothing is worse than cooking a perfect fried egg only to tear it while transferring the egg from the skillet to a plate. To avoid having egg on your face, apply cooking spray to your spatula before slipping it under the fried egg in the skillet—it won’t get stuck on any surface and will slide onto your plate without a hitch.
Drama #2 Shaping Cooked Eggs

If you’re throwing a fried egg between circular bread (like a bagel, English muffin, or burger bun), it can be tricky to fit the egg just right so it doesn’t flop messily over the sides of the sandwich. The trick? Fry the eggs inside of buttered cookie cutters placed inside of the skillet to shape your eggs to size. After cooking, transfer both the egg and the cutter to a plate with a spatula (see Drama #1) and then maneuver the tailor-made egg nicely into your sandwich.
Drama #3 Preventing Egg Roll-Out

Are your eggs rolling all over tarnation and driving you crazy? Get them under control immediately: Simply corral your wayward eggs by placing one or two inside of each thick rubber band laid flat on the counter. Your eggs shall be troublemakers no more.

I love the rubber band idea. For me, I use a single piece of paper towel folded in half. It provides a roll-free surface for the eggs and when I crack them they don’t leave an egg white puddle on the counter. It’s also a handy place for the shells. When I’m done cracking eggs, I simple roll up the whole mess and throw it into the fireplace. I have a pet peeve about egg whites on my Boos board.
