Also, don’t tell anyone that the part of the dough that oozed out is a flaw. Instead, explain that researchers have unearthed scrolls describing the ancient Scots’ frustration with springform pans too. Then hand out all of the shortbread STAT. I’m afraid that this awesome cookie is a diet-buster!!!!!! But oh, so worth it….
